I have added checking up on Uma to my morning web routine. Anna Nicole Smith died, NASA is dealing with an astronaut love triangle scandal (it used to be just leaky seals), Iraq is an ongoing sink-hole mess, and Uma fights quietly on. I love the photo, and I love the eloquent post that accompanies it. I may keep reading Erik even after Uma is dancing in the streets again. What is it about edgy, arty California types (Yes, Ren and Jodi, I mean you too) that draws me into their blogs? I even like reading about Just Jenn's snack foods for heaven's sake. Then there's the heartland connection... No wonder I have trouble getting stuff done. Too much surfing other people's lives and too little living my own. But maybe that's just winter.
