Inexaustibly Playful, Inately Gentle, Infinitely Tolerant, Insatiably Curious
Taken too quickly and too young.
We will miss him,
and lay him to sleep
under the weeping willow
in the backyard.

Sadness at the loss of your pet. Their lives are always too brief.

i am so sorry for your family's loss. there are never any words good enough.
Thank you all for the kind words of support and condolence. He was an adorable little bugger and Saltimbocca (the remaining ferret) is definitely missing him too.
