Blowing the Bunny

I almost blew the bunny today. On an uncharacteristic Sunday, I posted on Glass Incarnate. I congratulated myself as I was blogging that my child is too young to read so it's ok to write about how I filled and hid the eggs, and Dave bought the candy. As is occasionally my wont, when I was finished I started to read a bit out loud to Dave as he and J were making breakfast. I got all the way through how I filled and cannily hid the eggs before his horrified expression alerted me to my extreme faux pas. J does not appear to have heard me, but it was a close thing. Happy Easter, all.

Uh huh, the things that you hope she tunes out vs. the things you hope are over her head. Parenting as usual

You mean to tell me that your child believes in the Easter Bunny? What about Santa Claus? The Great Pumpkin???
